Prepify is building free, gamified SAT prep that connects talented, but disadvantaged students directly with the top colleges that can recruit them.

The number one predictor of a student’s SAT score is household income, and there is a nearly 400 point score gap between low and high-income. A critical factor is the lack of access to test prep as many students are priced out of traditional paid prep. This is where Prepify comes in.

Additionally, they go further than just free test prep by providing information on student users directly to college admissions officers who can then recruit those students. This is important as the Brookings Institute found that the vast majority of high achieving low-income students do not apply to any competitive college. Direct outreach is critical to change this statistic, and Prepify provides this direct connection.
