recruitHER is a women-owned, full-service agency committed to connecting technology companies with diverse, qualified candidates. recruitHER seeks to positively impact the tech industry through facilitating companies’ access to more diverse talent. Through our consultative coaching and a careful matching process, recruitHER enables diverse candidates who are interested in or already pursuing careers in technology to better identify opportunities that match their skills and interests. Companies with diverse teams achieve improved business results including higher revenue, increased innovation, lower turnover, and better ROI.

recruitHER specializes in sourcing qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds, with a particular commitment to representing women in tech. Whether using internal recruiters or agency teams, hiring managers today are typically presented with a highly homogenous set of candidates. recruitHER aims to be different: We distinguish ourselves from other agencies by facilitating companies’ access to a truly diverse slate of talent. We also help our candidates achieve their career goals by providing career coaching services, with specific expertise in issues facing women professionals.

While our vision is to help the tech industry achieve gender balance by focusing on women candidates, recruitHER does not exclude anyone from our candidate pool on the basis of sex or gender identity. recruitHER is committed to working with and helping place our candidates, regardless of gender. recruitHER offers equal opportunity in employment for all qualified persons and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, veteran status, disability unrelated to job requirements, genetic information, military service, or other protected status.

Kevin-Bio-ImageKevin Putegnat founded his first company in college and never looked back.  Iterating over the next 15+ years, Kevin Putegnat is a lifelong serial entrepreneur and CEO.  Part catalyst, part team builder, and part technologist, Kevin has a proven ability to pinpoint profitable opportunities and capitalize on them.  While all of his companies have been founded in the tech space, his early companies centered around building software and IP in niche markets.  He later went on to build technology firms in both B2B and B2G, filling technology demands for fortune 500 companies and the federal government.

As a seasoned entrepreneur, Kevin Putegnat shares his experience and knowledge through mentorship programs, speaking engagements, startup groups, and investment opportunities.  Recently, Kevin Putegnat was interviewed by Eric Schurenberg, President and Editor of Inc Magazine, on a panel at Startup Week in Colorado where they discussed the triumphs and challenges of entrepreneurship.  Kevin is also the founder of ATX NoPay Startup, an intensive startup group that leverages the human capital of the group’s members to test, fortify, and mentor new startup ventures.

Kevin Putegnat evangelizes his business philosophy of finding revenue streams early to fund growth and build stability.  He spends his time looking for new opportunities, studying trends, and connecting with other entrepreneurs.  Second only to spending time with his family, Kevin’s favorite thing to do is share war stories and work through hard problems over a good meal with smart people.  In whatever time he has left, Kevin pursues adventures in life through travel, the outdoors, food, and learning new things.
